HOW TO BECOME AN EXPORTER?

According to the Announcement related with the Export Certificate no: (96/1), published in the Official Paper no: 22515 and dated: 6.1.1996, the “exporter certificate” is nullified since 15.1.1996. 
According to paragraph (e) of article 4 of the export regulation published in the Official Paper no: 22515 and dated: 6.1.1996, the merchants who are real and legal persons who are a member of the related exporters union based on the good to be exported and subjected to real procedure (having a single tax number), craftsman and little artisans who are registered in the union of craftsman and little artisans and dealing with production activities and joint-ventures and consortiums are defined as exporters. 
Accordingly, from the merchants who want to be a member of the exporters’ union, instead of exporter certificate, the commercial registry paper and documents certifying that he has a single tax number shall be requested. 
. From the craftsman and little artisans who want to be a member of the exporters’ union, it shall be requested that they are a payer of single tax number as well as they certify that they deal with production activities by a document they will have from the Turkish confederation of craftsman and little artisans. 
Joint-ventures and consortiums shall be a member by delivering the document certifying that they are a payer of single tax number and the partnership contract stating their conditions to the exporters’ union.
